On 5 May, Northbridge International School Cambodia Paws Crossed members concluded their yearly mission of providing help to Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society (PPAWS) in taking care of the dogs and cats that they shelter. They helped clean the cages, bathed the dogs, fed and played with the animals.
The club members met once a week to arrange volunteer schedules and safety precautions. They came in groups of 5 or 6 every Sunday, with morning and afternoon shifts. This club spent 15 Sundays to perform direct service to a community in need.
PPAWS is very grateful for the support they receive from the club. Sunday is the busiest day at PPAWS and our students are always there to help out. They will continue with this mission next school year. Thanks to Marshell and Por Kihm for their leadership this year.
