Leysan started to work with children in 2016. Her diverse working experience with all age groups from 3 to 14 allows her to understand children's interests and needs at each stage of development.
What she especially loves about ISM is its global community: “It brings together people who share common values and beliefs from all over the world. We might not always know what the future professions will be, but we can help our students to become independent and confident learners so that they can achieve excellence in any path they take”. In this sense, she believes that reading is one of the best opportunities to teach children to be directors of their own learning process. Choosing a book requires a child to ask oneself: “What are my interests? What brings me joy? What makes me curious?”. Sometimes one spark of joy and excitement from reading a book, one story that touches the heart can turn a child into a life-long reader. Leysan finds it most important in her role to guide children in the exciting world of books and ensure that the books they are reading make them curious, fascinated and inspired .
Outside school, Leysan learns Graphic design, explores Russia and it’s hard to reach destinations as well as enjoys many outdoor and indoor activities Moscow has to offer.

Early Childhood Education and Psychology (Moscow State Pedagogical University).
