GET INSPIRED

This year’s edition of CDL Talks will explore a theme that connects us all: The Future We Share.

From flying cars to AI that dreams, the future is unfolding faster than we can define it. This year’s CDL Talks will explore how we think, connect, and find meaning in a world constantly in motion. From challenging anti-intellectualism to exploring the human loop where technology and creativity meet, from shaping our moral compass to protecting human connection in the digital age, the event will be a powerful reminder that The Future We Share is not just inherited, but created.

Join us for an evening of inspiring voices, thought-provoking ideas, and powerful reflections as students, alumni, and staff share personal stories and bold visions.

Finding True North in a Changing World

Audrey explores how we can build a strong sense of ethics and integrity in a rapidly changing world. She challenges us to recognise prejudice and unconscious bias, and shows how a personal moral compass can help us build a more just, connected future together, with empathy, courage, and authenticity.

CDL Talks - Arianna

“What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?”

Arianna tackles one of life’s most enduring questions - who we want to become. For today’s young generation, that challenge feels greater than ever. With more choice and flexibility come new layers of ambiguity. Some jobs are vanishing while others are just emerging, redefining the importance of making choices that not only reflect our ambitions, but also our values.

Technology, Creativity, and the Human Loop

Technology might be both our greatest strength and vulnerability. Marcos draws on his experience designing space systems by day and composing music by night to explore how technology reshapes what it means to be human. He invites us to reflect on the balance between reliability and creativity, and how treating technology as a teammate, not just a tool, may define the future of innovation.
